Week 5 - I started harvesting some of my Bibb lettuce leaves, Basil, Chard and Gourmet lettuce. I gave a few to a friend who said she enjoyed them on her sandwich. Week 6 - I harvested more Bibb lettuce leaves, Rainbow Chard, Gourmet Lettuce, Basil and Kale. The aroma of fresh cut greens is amazing especially since there are 30+ inches of snow on the ground. I gave a bag full to a friend and picked another bag full for dinner tonight. So much flavor and all the nutrients are still there. The first three pictures are week 6, bowls of Gourmet Lettuce, Rainbow Chard, Basil and Bibb Lettuce. The second group of three are from week 6 too, the Bibb Lettuce, Basil and Gourmet Lettuce still growing in the tower. The third group of three pictures are from week 5 - Gourmet Lettuce, Rainbow Chard and Bibb Lettuce growing in the tower.
What an amazing garden.
